Week 6 topics – Where Electricity Comes From?
Electricity is very popular used in our daily life. You are using electricity for lighting, cooking, heating, cooling, entertainment, charging your phone, your electrical bike, etc. Nonetheless, have you ever thought where does the electricity come from? You can watch the video below in YouTube. Be ready to share with your group mates where the electricity comes from.



Week 5 – Free time
Free time for kids and teenagers is decreasing. Organized activity and school-related time is being prioritized more. A study by Rutgers Business School (2021) showed that those who do not enjoy pleasure-driven activities are more depressed. These individuals are also more anxious and stressed. While focusing on studying is important, teenagers need a healthy balance. Balancing learning, play, and rest is crucial for their development. For today’s club discussion, we’d like you to share how do you spend your time in free time.



Week 4 – Physical Activities in adolescence
According to a 2024 WHO report, the rate of physical inactivity globally remains alarming, with 31% of adults not engaging in sufficient physical activity, equivalent to 1.8 billion people worldwide. The problem of inactivity is even more pronounced among teenagers worldwide and in Vietnam. Globally, 81% of teenagers aged 11 to 17 do not get enough exercise. In Vietnam alone, only 1 in 4 teenagers aged 13 to 17 meet the goal of exercising for at least one hour a day. This trend not only seriously threatens individual health but also increases pressure on the healthcare system and raises the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.



Week 3 – Social Media Ban
Starting from 10th December 2025, the Australian Government law to ban children under 16 years old from accessing social media platforms, including Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok, ect has come into effect … In some other countries, such as Denmark, the Government is planning to implement a minimum age requirement of 15 years old to be allowed to use of social media.

Week 2 – Music
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you’re feeling so stressed, then you hear music from your favorite singer or musician, or band, you feel so relaxed, and want to stand up for a dance or sing? That is exactly the superpower of music. Let’s discuss and share your thoughts about music.

Week 1 – Where do you see yourself in ten years?
We will reach Christmas and the New Year in the next couple of weeks. This is a great time for us to reflect on what we have done in the year. We should consider the best memories that make us proud and the ones that make us so sad. We’d like you to share/ discussion with club members about your thought.
